What will you do when you need care?

We expect to age, but rarely do we expect to need long term care. In fact, half of us say we’d rather die than go to a nursing home – yet 70% of us will need this type of care at some point in our lives.  How can we improve our options for long term care beyond the nursing home?

During this event, we will feature a documentary that portrays new models of long term care for people with dementia in the Netherlands, Thailand, and Canada.  After the “show”, we will have a facilitated discussion, comparing and contrasting these models with what is currently available in the US.
